Top 5 Movies to Watch on Halloween

1: Skinamarink

If you are scared of the dark, this is a perfect scary movie for you. Picture it: two kids, Kevin and Kaylee, wake up and suddenly both of their parents are MIA, and on top of that, the windows and doors are just gone…it's like the most intense game of hide and seek but so much creepier. The house gets super dark and the weirdest things start to happen. The movie is also super grainy and uneasy, which gives a fever-like feeling. If you're into eerie horror films, you definitely should watch this.
2: The Exorcist (1973)

This movie is one of the classic horror movies you need to watch. It's about a girl, Regan, who gets possessed by a demonic entity, her mom Chris gets really concerned and scared and calls 2 priests to perform an exorcism on her daughter. The scenes of Regan in her bed are certainly disturbing and will give you chills. If you want a movie that will require you to watch some sort of kid show to help you forget what you just saw, this movie is the perfect movie for you.
3: The Conjuring (2013)

Yes the conjuring movies are a little basic to watch, but the 2013 movie is a must- watch. This movie is based on real-life people, Ed and Lorraine Warren. It follows the Perron family, who move into an old farmhouse, which they quickly realize is haunted. Things start to get really intense in the farm house so the Perron family calls Ed and Lorraine for help. This movie contains a ton of jump scares, which really intensifies the movie, and the storyline definitely keeps you hooked.
4: The Audition

The audition is a wild japanese scary thriller directed by Takashi Miike. It follows a widowed man, Shigeharu, and his son, Yamato. Yamato really encourages his dad to get back into the dating scene, so Shigeharu had the bright idea of holding auditions for his fake movie to find a potential girlfriend, which is a little insane but whatever helps him find a woman! He interviews this girl Asami, she seems sweet at first but as their relationship grew it revealed some dark secrets and obsessions she was hiding. If you really like those psychological horror movies, you will love this movie.
5: Anabelle

Anabelle follows a couple, Mia and John, who just got pregnant. They decided it would be cute to get this innocent looking, vintage doll named Annabelle for their kid. That doll was not innocent in the slightest. Things turn very quickly after a couple days living with this doll. Annabelle wasn't just a doll now, she was a vessel for something very evil. This is a type of movie that will keep you up at night. This is the perfect movie to watch if you love the scary doll plot line.
