Stafford High School’s field hockey team has a strong history, yet they have faced challenges in the state tournament in recent years. Later in the week, they faced Colonial Forge again in the district quarterfinals. The team fought hard but was unable to secure a win, losing all three sets, which marked the end of their season. Senior Isabel Deal reflected, “I’m really going to miss the people I played with all four years, and I’m proud of how far everyone has come.”
Our Take:
Despite the disappointing end, the volleyball team had a solid season, showcasing the potential of a relatively young squad.
