Billows of smoke from the tractor-trailer crash were captured by faculty member Micheal Millers shortly after the accident Wednesday Morning.
Wednesday morning, March 23, 2022, a trailer-tractor collision with guard rail actuator caused a shutdown of I-95 South in Stafford county. The impact caused the trailer to overturn resulting in a fire which created masses of smoke that could be seen from Stafford High less than a mile away. Troopers responded to the crash at 8:32 AM, closing off the interstate until 11 AM once the driver who sustained multiple serious injuries was safely taken to the hospital and debris was cleared.
